Format

Die einzelnen Werke werden auf Papier des Zeichenblocks Carta Pura 140g weißlich säurefrei 100% Cotton 17 x 24 cm realisiert

Songtitel

Der Songtitel wird auf dem Blatt durch eine ausgewählte Schriftart grafisch angeordnet. Die Farben sind vorab definiert. Sie werden im RGB Farbraum erstellt. Grundsätzlich wurden den Songs die Grundfarben rot, grün, blau, gelb, magenta, cyan zugeordnet. Die Grundfarben jeweils mit der numerischen Länge des Liedtitels und des Interpreten angepasst.

Buchstabenlisten

Von dem jeweiligen Liedtext (in [] gesetzter Text wird ignoriert) werden folgende vorkommenden Zeichen (normalisiert auf Kleinschreibun) gezählt: a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, q, r, s, t, u, v, w, x, y, z, ö, ä, ü, ., -, !,: , ', ?, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9

Zuordnung der Zeichen zur Richtung der Reihen

Die Zeichen, welche im Liedtitel vorkommen, werden senkrecht geschrieben. Die restlichen waagrecht. Jeweils Buchstaben und Sonderzeichen.

Positionsbestimmung der Listen

Für die Position der zu schreibenden Listen wird zuerst der Raum des Werks, welcher für diese vorgesehen wird, definiert. Hierfür wird der Bereich gemessen, den die positionierten Buchstaben des Liedtitels auf dem Blatt einnehmen. Der Bereich für die Listen ist (senkrecht und waagricht) jeweils mittig, 10mm kleiner.)

Für die ersten 26 Zeichen (a-z) der zu schreibenden Zeichen wird der ermittelte Bereich (unterschiedliche Werte für waagrecht und senkrecht) für die Listen durch 26 geteilt. Dieser Betrag wir dann für jede Listenpositon beginnend bei 0 aufadiert und ergibt die jeweilige waagrechte oder senkrechte Position für jeden vorkommenden Buchstaben.

Die Sonderzeichen (ö-9) werden per Zufallszahlbestimmung im difinierten Bereich ermittelt.

Schreiben der Buchstabenlisten

Die Buchstaben werden jeweils von der Mitte des Blatts hälftig nach oben/unten bzw. links/rechts mit einem "rotring Tikky Graphic 0.2 - pigmented ink" händisch über den gedruckten Titel geschrieben.

Anordnung Abstraktionen

Die Abstraktionen werden so angeordnet, dass sie zwischeneinander jeweils einen Abstand von 5 mm haben.

Die Anordeung erfolgt nach Alphabeth in Schreibrichtung von links nach rechts und von oben nach unten.

Definition maße Einzelwerke

Die Einzelwerke werden so angeordnet, dass ein hochkantiges Werk entsteht. Für die einzelnen Buchstaben wird ermittelt, mit welcher Verteilung der Einzelwerke auf Spalten und Zeilen der geringste Unterschied zwischen der Anzahl von Spalten und Zeilen erzielt wird und gleichzeitig, die Anzahl der Leerstellen in der letzten Zeile so gering wie möglich ist.

Das Einzelwerk hat einen Aussenrand von 1 cm.

Die Bearbeitung erfolgt nach Alphabet aufsteigend.

KONZEPT

Für die Werkserie "naive Playlist" werden 41 Werke in eine abstrahierte Form überführt:

Grundlage für das Regelwerk sind folgende Parameter der Songs:

  • Interpret
  • Liedtitel
  • Liedtext

Der Liedtitel wird auf ein Blatt farbig, grafisch gestaltet gedruckt. 

Der Liedtext wird auf die vorkommenden Buchstaben untersucht und die Buchstaben werden in Reihen für jeden Buchstaben manuell über den gedruckten grafischen Text geschrieben.

Die Positionen der Buchstabenreihen werden regelbasiert aus Beziehungen der genannten Parameter bestimmt. In der Ausführung sind Abweichungen aus ästhetischem Empfinden erlaubt. Es gibt senkrechte und waagrechte Reihen.

IDEE

Ich organisiere meine Musik mit mediamonkey. Die Musikbibliothek umfasst 67.000 Tracks. Diese sind in 240 Wiedergabelisten organisiert. Also zuviel, als dass ich mir hier etwas merken könnte. Deshalb erfasse ich für alle Songs in verschiedenen Kritierien Eigenschaften des Tracks. Hierfür vergebe ich selbst definierte "Emotionen", damit ich stimmungsabhängige Playlisten generieren kann. Mediamonkey hat eine Bewertungsskala von 0 - 5 Sternen. Im Februar hörte ich die Playlist "naive, 5 Sterne" und war irgendiwe berührt von den Songs. Da ich schon immer etwas mit den Playlisten machen wollte, kam ich auf die Idee für jeden Song der Playlist ein abstrahieres, hübsches Blatt, regelbasiert zu erstellen.

Die LIeder der Playlist "naive 5 Sterne" umfasste zum damaligen Zeitpunkt 42 Songs.
