Tiles
Number
Othello contains 896 text blocks according to the general set of rules (893 speaker-based and 3 blocks created by division, as the text contains more than 34 lines). The number of tiles of the work is determined (due to the defined quadratic work) by the root of the text blocks rounded up to an integer. This results in 30 x 30 = 900 tiles. The resulting 4 tiles not occupied by text are created with the basic colour of the work 0-255-0 green and inserted every 225 tiles, beginning at the 113th position.
