Bookshop

IDEA

(10/21)

During a visit to the Kunstpavillon in the Old Botanical Garden in Munich, I noticed that the dimensions inside roughly correspond to the proportions of my local bookshop Krammel & Meier - Buchhandlung am Nordbad (i.e. mainly, more or less square).

So I developed the idea of virtually recreating the bookshop in the Kunstpavillon building by projecting the bookshelves and book tables onto the inside wall and floor of the Kunstpavillon.

A separate isbn-maschine would be created for all the books to be created, which would include the first and last sentence of each book and map them online according to the rules of the isbn-maschine.

Visitors to the Kunstpavillon can touch the book projections and at another place at Kunstpavillon the sentences from the project's own isbn-maschine are projected (floor, ceiling, point of the cash desk area, on the outer walls of the Kunstpavillon).

At the same time, these pages are played on screens in the bookshop window, in the order they were clicked on. Possibly on several screens. This will also be "broadcast" live on the internet
