LETTER ANALYSIS 1
IDEA
(03/21)
For each letter or punctuation mark used in a book, a separate pictorial work is created in the size of the book site. The individual pictorial works form a joint work. Each artwork contains the occurrence of the selected letter/punctuation mark on each page.
Colour and colour density result from, either:
- the ratio of the occurrence of the character in relation to all characters in the book.
- the ratio of the occurrence of the character on the page in relation to occurrences of the character in the whole book.
- comparison of the ratios.
